The perfect weekend in NYC
Some Quick Facts
New York City is known as the Big Apple, but where did the name come from? Well the name came from a horse racing writer John J. Fitz Gerald since he believed all the big racing prizes were near NYC. The actually city has been around since the 1600’s when it was founded by the Dutch and was originally named New Amsterdam but was later changed to New York after the Duke of York seized it during the Revolutionary War.
So why NYC?
Well NYC has a little bit of everything from Central Park, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, to the Bronx Zoo. So whether your 5 or 85 NYC will have the perfect thing for you.
Well is it Expensive?
Well the answer to that is yes and no. You can go big and stay at the Ritz Carlton and shop all day and all night, or you can stay at a simple Hilton or Marriot and visit the many free opportunities. The cost of a trip to NYC is all up to you.

One of my favorite pizza places in NYC has to be Angelo’s Coal Oven Pizza. Although it isn’t your typical slice you will be glad that you had it.
A Nice seat
One of New York’s most unique restaurants has to be Nōksu. Nōksu is actually inside the Subway, but it is a Michelin Star restaurant.
A famous Bagel
One of NYC’s most famous bagel shops is Liberty Bagels, which is known for their rainbow bagels with birthday cake cream cheese.
A Quick Sip
NYC is known for its coffee shops like 787 Coffee. One of their most popular drinks is the Cold Brew.

Now that we’ve made it and had a bite what should we do? One of the amazing parts of NYC is the Radio City Rockettes. Take a look:
Wow that was amazing! But now that we saw that how much will it cost to actually go see them? Well prices for the Rockettes range from $60-$500. But truthfully Radio City doesn’t offer a bad seat whether your in the front row or the very back row you’ll still se the amazing wonders of the Rockettes.

Coffee: Magical Bean Water
The World of Coffee
With roots in Ethiopia and Yemen over 500 years ago. Coffee did not grow in popularity until America made it the drink of choice. This is closely linked to the history of our own country. After the tax from the tea Act of 1773, America rejected Tea sold by the British East India Trading Company and went to the cheaper alternate of coffee. This brought it to the masses, and began its march towards global domination.
Types of Coffee
Pourover
The most popular form of coffee in the world is the pour over. It is a process where you pour hot water over coffee in a paper filter. This process is the basis of the drip coffee machine. It yields a fast to make a cup of descent quality coffee.
A famous coffeemaker that created the drip market is the Mr. Coffee. Have a listen.
A drip feed coffee maker Percolated Coffee
The older brother to the modern day drip coffee machine is the percolator. It has one major downside, of its resteaps the coffee multiple times, causing it to become bitter, it wasvery uncommon to drink this coffee black. Most people who drank precolated coffee have very little issues drinking black drip coffee though as it is far less bitter.

Espresso
Currently the king of caffeine. Espresso uses pressurized water to put the coffee grinds under pressure. You also have to grind the coffee finer to allow for the extraction process to work faster. This process requires some decently expensive equipment, and therefore is not a process normally done in homes, but budget espresso makers are becoming available. Starbucks made Espresso widely available in the United States.

Before the modern high pressure espresso machine, there was still a way to make a higher pressure more caffeinated coffee than drip. It was called the Mocha Pot. To use it, you would fill the bottom with water, a cup of coffee, and then screw it together. Placed upon a source of heat, it would force the water through

Au or gold is a soft malleable highly unreactive transition metal. Some common alloys are yellow gold which is only 75% gold, white gold which contains gold, palladium, and other white metals, and rose gold which is gold, copper, and silver.

The Darmstadt region in Germany is rich in naturally occurring Oil Shale. Bismuth naturally creates beautiful crystal structures. 
In Germany this rock gained the name Pitchblende which means bad luck. When you found Pitchblende you would start breaking your pickaxes, and the copper vein would run out.
