What will I miss about DMS?
When I get asked what I’ll miss I’m often at a lost for words. But then I think about the people I meet along the way. From the teachers taught me how to be myself to the friends that helped me find who I am. Personally, 8th grade has been a rollercoaster from starting the year as a girl who lost her spark and didn’t know who she was to an outgoing girl that knew herself. And don’t get me wrong middle school hasn’t been sunshine and rainbows. Middle school as seen me at my highs and lows. But ultimately the factor that made middle school enjoyable is my friends. Although they have changed many times since 5th grade they all had a season and reason. So that is why I will miss DMS.
What am I excited for in High School?
Judging of what I said in the beginning you would think I’m only going to be sad, but I’m not. I know going into high school there will be a change that will offer challenges. But I know great things are awaiting me. At first I was nervous since I’m starting from scratch, but then I went on a tour and saw the amazing things my high school had to offer. But to answer the question I’m most excited for Friday night lights. The school I’m going to has one of the best football teams in the state. So going in I know I’m in for a treat.

What are my summer plans?
This summer me and my family are going on a few vacations. First we are going to Atlanta for a dance competition. Then we are going back up to north Georgia in the mountains for a week for a dance bootcamp and to see my cousins. Then I’m going to my families lake house in north Alabama. But, throughout the whole summer I will be weightlifting 4 times a week and hanging out with friends.
